Skin Feel

This is a final result of three-step Interactive Generative Visualisations project, 1) project proposal, 2) prototype and 3) project, which I worked on throughout a semester of Interactive Media course.
The outcome was an interface which emphasised tacticality and movement of lights, heightening visual and haptic senses by enacting the two-dimensional to a four-dimensional space. The projection surface is the participant’s hand - a bodily part which allows us to perform vital everyday actions. I was fascinated by and thus worked towards the potential of integrating the digital into an accessible, intuitive and aesthetically engaging environment. It seeks for a playful interaction where participants are encouraged to explore the unfamiliar ensemble of space, movement and the graphics.
